A kindergarten in Żoliborz

In our kindergarten, the needs of the child are always at the fore. Therefore, educators make sure that there is a warm atmosphere during classes and free time. Daily, interesting challenges are aimed at developing toddlers' skills and encouraging them to explore the world.

Daily contact with an English teacher provides natural learning conditions. The English teacher is present throughout the day - both during classes and during play or being outdoors. Toddlers learn a foreign language while solving difficulties, showing affection and eating meals. English is therefore a natural language in communication between preschoolers and teachers. This is a way of quick and effective learning by children.

Multicultural education includes Spanish language classes with a Native Speaker. This is a Venezuelan teacher. During the classes, children learn the language and learn the secrets of Spanish and Latin American culture (e.g. while playing).

The most important thing for us is the well-being of the child. That is why Happy Hippo Kindergarten only employs qualified educators. The young team provides the best care for the little ones. Children are taught acceptance, mutual trust and respect. Teachers develop their independence and creativity, stimulating them to work on shaping abilities and interests. Teaching methods in our kindergarten are selected individually to the child's needs. Thanks to this, we are able to manage the potential of each child in the best way, motivate him to act and explore the world. At Happy Hippo, every preschooler feels important and appreciated.

Varied educational activities

Happy Hippo Kindergarten offers varied educational activities, as well as special events and themed tours. Famous people often visit our facility, including actors or musicians, as well as representatives of various professions. It is also impossible not to mention cyclical theater performances, educational concerts and nature workshops. We treat each day as a new adventure and a way to broaden the horizons of children.

We teach pro-ecological behavior

Our program includes environmental education. Thanks to this, we are able to provide children with knowledge about how their actions will affect the future of the Earth. Together we grow and care for a garden with vegetables and fruit. Through play, toddlers learn responsibility and consolidate proper eating habits.

We teach social competences

Children are taught a sense of social belonging. The little ones are independent and active. We develop the skills of asking questions, looking for answers, independent thinking, drawing conclusions and making decisions. These are features that are very important both in children and in the later stages of human life.

We create creativity

At Happy Hippo, children are taught to be sensitive to the fine arts. For this purpose, we organize various types of theater, music and ceramic workshops, as well as easel painting. Such activities help in discovering talents and developing children's passion.

Physical activity

We realize that both a balanced diet and the right amount of physical activity are important. We are always looking for a balance between exercise, relaxation and learning. We try to provide as many opportunities for physical activity as possible - in classrooms, outdoors and in the kindergarten garden.

Language education

We offer a bilingual education system. Each group is subordinate to two teachers.

The educator's task is to implement the core curriculum in Polish. English teacher - the second teacher - is responsible for communication in English. In addition, the kindergarten employs a Native Speaker who conducts Spanish classes. The teacher is from Venezuela. Multicultural education includes language learning as well as games with elements of Spanish and Latin American culture.

Our original program

In our kindergarten, we implement our own original program, which is an extension of the core curriculum of the Ministry of National Education.
Our proprietary program assumes the implementation of projects related to, inter alia, with multicultural education, art and science. We try to combine didactic activities with fun. We organize original cultural and educational events in which our pupils can actively participate. We have started cooperation with external companies, thanks to which our kindergarten conducts scientific and research and natural science classes, as well as organizes educational concerts and staged plays. The uniqueness of Happy Hippo kindergarten is evidenced by the wide range of thematic classes.

Child safety

Our kindergarten is equipped with a camera system that records what is happening in the classrooms and in the garden. The parents of our pupils can check (remotely) what their children are doing at any time.

The Happy Hippo Private Language Pre-School No. 316 operates on the basis of an entry in the register of Private Schools and Institutions of the Capital City of Warsaw. Our facility meets all sanitary and fire protection requirements (including the ZL II standard).
Only certified materials were used for interior finishing - non-toxic and completely safe. The furniture and other elements of equipment used are certified. The kitchen was designed in accordance with the technological design (approved by Sanepid).

Kindergarten classrooms

The classrooms in the kindergarten are spacious and well-equipped.

Happy Hippo kindergarten is a place that was created with the safety and comfort of children in mind. Washbasins and toilets in the bathrooms have been adapted to the needs of the youngest. In the case of the water temperature at the sinks, a central regulation is used.
The materials used for interior finishing are certified - they are safe and non-toxic. Furniture and other elements of equipment have the appropriate certificates.
